Since the advent of MISMO, the information regarding COP requirements came so clear. Unlike before, an applicant can now log in to his/her profile and view the list. However, if aren’t ready yet, then don’t apply for that COP transaction. Don’t worry, this blog will show you the complete and latest information on MARINA COP requirements.
The applicant must have a valid MARINA MISMO account. If you do not have this yet, click here to make one.
It is undeniable how convenient this platform is. With just a few clicks, you can set your appointment with your desired transaction in your chosen MARINA Regional Office.
When should I process my COP?
You should apply for COP via MISMO as soon as you finish your training. It is advisable even though MARINA announced the suspension of the 6-month rule. Where, in that rule, your training certificate should be COPied within 6 months after its completion.
As of 2021, training taken or completed 2 years before the date of application will still be accepted for issuance of COP as long as that document and all other information needed was encoded by the training provider.
