Is it possible to transfer transaction to other MARINA Branches given the current status of the pandemic in the country? One might ask this question as different regions or provinces impose different levels of restrictions upon entry.
Due to schedule availability of some branches, some of us think its better to transfer to another branch than wait for our original schedule. But is this possible and how are we going to do this?
Reasons for Transfer:
There are various reasons for transfer to other MARINA branches and this might include:
- Current Restrictions to the Branch you set your appointment into
- Availability of Transport options
- Conflict to the schedule of embarkation
To applicants that might need to do this, please make sure that the reason is valid enough to consider for transfer.
Step 1: Initiate Transfer of Transaction
If you wish to transfer to other branches after you have paid your transaction, then notify IT Division at [email protected]. Here’s what you need:
- Attached Letter of Request stating a valid reason for transfer
- Clear copy of the Seaman’s Book/Gov’t Issued ID
- Selfie Photo holding Seaman’s Book/Gov’t Issued ID (for verification purposes)

Step 2: Wait for Approval
Due to various factors not to mix up the original schedule as booked, the IT Division will make sure that transactions originally scheduled will not be affected.
Therefore, the applicant needs approval from the Management for this request. This may or may not push through but at least you’ll get the answer you need.
Step 3: Final Evaluation
Once transfer is approved, then go to the branch that you choose to process your transaction. Bring original documents for verification.
If however, the request is denied, then you proceed to the original date and time to the branch where you first set your appointment.
There are some branches that the appointment dates are months away. So choose the branch you wish to transact carefully.
