Why do almost everyone encounter this problem?

When MARINA introduced MISMO, almost every seafarer registered to the program. Since MARINA also requires Filipino seafarers to have an SCS account (SRN), the two system became redundant in itself.

However, we really need only one system to do all this convenience for us. Having two accounts with basically the same function doesn’t fit. So it is advisable that you sync your SCS Account with MISMO Account.

Sync your SCS Account with MISMO

If your MISMO account is not showing your SRN, then your account with SCS is not yet synced.

To sync, you need to prepare a photocopy or a photo of your SIRB and your email address.

Create an email with a Subject: SCS account sync to MISMO account, then provide details of the following:

Complete Name:

Birthday:

SIRB No:

Date of Issuance:

Place of Issuance:

Attach a clear photocopy or a clear picture of your SIRB’s first page.

Normally, as of this writing, the IT backend will sync your SCS account with MISMO in about 12-24 hours after you send them a message.

That simple step will enable you to fully use MISMO’s functions after your two accounts will sync.
