Good news just keep on coming from MARINA this days and somehow includes unexpected moves, a 50% drop of COP and COC prices. Yes, you read that right. To offset the negative effects of COVID-19, MARINA Advisory No. 2022-08 is to be adopted.
Considering almost 50% drop COP and COC prices, it is much more affordable than ever before. Augmenting setbacks of high prices of other necessities, this is really a huge help for Filipino seafarers and their families.

Printing of Certificates via MISMO
Effective February 15, 2022, releasing of certificates will be via the applicant’s MISMO account. Furthermore, applicant can print it in A4 size bond paper upon approval of applications through the MISMO platform.
After paying all corresponding fees, one can conveniently print the certificates. Thus, the need for appearance will somehow be a thing of the past. Only those applicants who needs to clarify something that needs appearance to the nearest MARINA Office.

50% drop of prices
Consider this as a 50% discount for all COP and COP certificates that you might be processing in the future. Not only the review is free, they also reduce the prices of STCW certificates which is very vital.
COP prices (which includes Issuance, Revalidation, Replacement)
- Regular – P130 from P230
- Expedite – P330 from P630
COC prices (which includes Issuance, Revalidation, Replacement)
- Regular – P530 from P1,030
- Expidete – P780 from P1,530
This fees are inclusive already of the documentary stamps.
Dates to remember
The MARINA Advisory No. 2022-08 is released to the public on February 4, 2022.
February 15, 2022 will be the start of releasing COP and COC certificates to each applicants via MISMO.
April 1, 2022 will be the start of no appearance to MARINA Offices if all application documents for COC and COP requires no further clarification.
