MARINA’s modernization efforts have gone online and now, seafarers who are in need of transaction (filing of exam, renewal of certificates, MARINA ID) with the agency needs to have SRN (Seafarer’s Registration Number). Step 2. Click Sign Up. Then click Register New Account.
Step 3. Fill Up necessary information.
Take note of your email address and password. You will use that as your Login credentials.
Step 4: Tick the “I accept the terms & condition” check box button and click Register.
Step 5: Go to your nominated email address to confirm your account.
If in case it doesn’t work, just copy the link to another browser and press enter button. This should show up:
Step 6: Sign In to your new MISMO profile. Use the email address and password you provided in the Sign Up process.
Step 7: You can now view your SRN in your main profile. This number is auto-generated once you create your MISMO account.

SRN and the New Online Appointment System
Late December 2018, MARINA launches the new online appointment system. This is a work in progress and is continuously being updated and improved for online appointment use.
There are some confusion on what to do if in case you already have an SCS Portal. MARINA answers that question in a Facebook post. New seafarers are required to register for a new account while those seafarers who already has SRN (with SCS profile) can log in using their SCS Log In Username and Password.
This is tricky, since most seafarers who have SCS profile can’t log in to the MISMO system. You need to do this first – sync both accounts.
As of February 2019, SCS portal is set to discontinue as MARINA will focus on their new online appointment system – the MISMO system.
All accounts will be migrated to the MISMO system and therefore, in the future, there is no need to visit the SCS website. New to MISMO? Click here for full tutorial on how to create a MISMO account.
