MARINA, in partnership with CHED, accredits maritime schools across the country. As the country supplies large number of seafarers, they have to make sure the qualifications is per STCW. Thus they have to start at school. This blog showcases the list of maritime schools accredited by MARINA and CHED.
This is to maintain strict compliance to STCW convention. MARINA and CHED monitors the performance of these school and perform audits from time to time.
Maritime Schools Accredited by MARINA & CHED
This list is updated as of December 2022 and applicable for school year 2022-2023. Expect changes to this list of maritime schools in subsequent years. It is because they conduct audits to ensure that these schools are in line with their standards. Audits are done by Joint CHED-MARINA evaluation/inspection.
BS Marine Transportation & BS Marine Engineering

Note, not all schools offer both degree in Marine Transportation and Marine Engineering. There are some schools who offer only one degree in this field. It is vital that before we enroll, we must verify their legibility to offer these courses.
