Take a look at the training centers for refresher training in Advance Training in Fire Fighting (ATFF), Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB) and Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat (PFRB). These are refresher training that we need to undertake every 5 years.
Why so? Apparently, STCW Manila Amendments wants seafarers to undertake this mandatory refresher courses. And in our country, it means another training. However, we need all this to somehow “refresh”.
These refresher training is also required to OIC and Management COC holders if they are going for revalidation.
